Knowing who we are and who he was.
January 4, 2023
Genesis 1 in the beginning He was
John 1 in the beginning was the Word and the Word was God
Self existent
John 5:26 AMPC
For even as the Father has life in Himself and is self-existent, so He has given to the Son to have life in Himself and be self-existent.
Colossians 1:17 AMPC
And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together).
John is the only one of the Gospels that starts our with Jesus in the beginning
God is the was, He has no genealogy
God is the beginning
You and I have parents we get some of our DNA matter from each parent
That traces back to Adam and eve
Reborn erasing that matter and now our genealogy teaches back to Jesus. "The was"
It changes who we are
We are now God's matter or DNA
Get this I am not talking figuratively I am talking literally
He says "I AM" your father.
I take out a Stoney heart and give you a heart of flesh
Out of your heart flows the issues of life
We are made up of matter
Everything is made up of matter Everything you see
God is who he says he is the Matter he is is because of the word he speaks
He tells us who he is right;
I am the way the truth the life
I am Jehovah
I am the I am
I can't change
Malachi 3:6(a)
For I am the Lord, I change not
James 1:17 NKJV
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from
the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
Hebrews 13:8 NKJV
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
1 Kings 8:56 NKJV
Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses.
Romans 8:38-39 NKJV
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
So we have to be like him get in line with the word and we don't change
God made lucifer right ?
But the devil made the devil by what he spoke and it changed his matter and changed him
Our matter is voice active and it responds to what it hears
So is it possible that he also hears what is spoken around us
Someone who hangs out in a cancer unit listening to cancer diagnosis is that changing their matter?
Your matter is listing
That's why this virus is spreading because they keep saying it and matter is listening.
I am sure that lucifer didn't change over night.
It was a sound change
That's is why we need to protect guard our hearts.
Lucifer wanted to be God, but He can never be God because God created him
For him to be God he would have to be the beginning or the was or create God.
God is light and the darkness cannot supersede the light. John 1:5
You are protected by the light of God. Devil cannot look into the light.
He gets in when you let dark holes in by stepping into his domain
You have parents right . You came from them. They told you that you did, but you have to take their word because they were here before you and before you can remember.
To understand who you are , you have to understand who God is.
The Bible tells us the devil is a thief, he lies, kills, destroyer
Adam and eve Destruction began when they allowed their DNA to listen to the devil.
Jesus came and he put new blood DNA in us
That is why he had to shed blood for a purification of our matter DNA.
When I donated stem cells.
They literally killed off dad's DNA and put mine in.
It all flows through the blood
Blood all flows from the heart
This part isn't parables….. this part is literal
Morning may last for the night but joy comes in the morning
It will change your DNA is you keep morning.
Joy is medicine to your soul.
Faith comes by hearing
That is why listening to the healing Scriptures works
Your matter is listening and lining up accordingly
Your head doesn't necessarily need to be listening.
Your brain is highly functioning it can be listening when you don't think it is
Play it while you sleep.
Death is not a period, death is a comma, it's a pause then you keep walking

Faith Defined
FAITH DEFINED
The word ‘Faith’ is a noun. A noun defines a person, place or thing. It becomes the subject you are discussing. Webster’s Dictionary defines ‘Faith’ as:
Definition of faith
Faith as a Noun
1. Allegiance to duty or a person; loyalty
2. Fidelity to one's promises
3. Sincerity of intentions acted in good faith
4. Belief and trust in and loyalty to God
a. Belief in the traditional doctrines of a religion
b. Firm belief in something for which there may not be any physical proof
c. Complete trust
Something that is believed especially with strong conviction; A system of religious beliefs
Faith as a Verb –Signifies Action
1. It is doing not just knowing
2. It is a firm persuasion
3. Conviction based on hearing
4. A belief that equates into corresponding actions
5. There is no time with God
a. 2 Peter 3:8 (one day is as a thousand years)
b. Hebrews 13:8 (Jesus is the same and does not change)
Elements Of Faith
Belief
‘Belief’ is a verb which denotes action. If there is no action, then you do not believe; you are simply in a mental agreement. Mental assent will recognize a truth but does not act on it. It puts you in the natural arena of just wishing and hoping that something will happen, with no expectation of anything happening; so there is no action on what you mentally agree with.
Hope
1. The biblical definition of ‘hope’ means an expectation of a truth of the Word being fulfilled. Biblical hope is confidence and favorable expectation. Not just wishing something would happen, but expecting it to happen.
2. Hope is always in the future. We rejoice in hope as we have a confident expectation of receiving what we have believed for.
Romans 5:1-5
Therefore, having been justified by faith, [a]we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
And hope makes us not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
a. Romans 12:12 (Rejoicing in hope)
b. Hebrews 6:19-20 (Hope is an anchor of the soul)
3. In the preceding we see that our hope is based upon the scriptures and the promises therein. In fact, we rejoice in (hope), the expectation of experiencing what God has promised.
1 Peter 1:3 NLT
“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live this great expectation (hope).”
The Thermostat
Hope is like the thermostat on your heating/air conditioning unit. You set the temperature you desire and you know that the thermostat will cause the unit to produce either the heat or air conditioning to bring the room to that setting.
1. Hope gives something for faith to give substance to.
2. Our knowledge and trust in the Word of God gives us the confident expectation that what God has said will come to pass.
3. So we joyfully live with that expectation.
Kenneth Hagen says:
Faith is proving God's word by acting on it. Faith is giving substance to the things hoped for.
As you act on God's word Faith gives substance to what you hope for. A lot of people just hope, and the stop there. But that is not Faith, that's hope, and hope won't bring substance- only Faith will. Faith is the substance of the thing hoped for. Hope doesn't have any substance, but faith gives substance to hope.
You have to fight the good fight of faith 1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.
Faith says
It's faith that moves God
Hope says: I will have the answer to my petition sometime
Faith says; I have the answer to my petition now
1 Timothy 6:12 AMPC
Faith Is Present Tense
1. Hebrews 11:1
a. NOW faith is the substance (realization) of things hoped
b. It is the evidence of, (confidence of) things not seen.
c. It is always in the now (present)
2. If it is not NOW it is not faith
a. Romans 10:9-10 NIV Many people think they are in faith when in reality they are just wishing and hoping for something.
They look to and rely on what they can see rather than what they cannot see.
b. 2 Corinthians 4:18 HCSB
c. 2 Corinthians 4:18 AMPC
THE DOG
We know the poison is inside we can pray and hope it doesn’t kill her, or we can act and induce vomiting and remove the poison. Faith doesn’t just hope it acts.
Faith says, I have it now, regardless of what it looks like. The circumstances are temporary and subject to change; but the Word of God is eternal and unchanging. The circumstances will have to change and conform to what the Word declares and promises.
Where Faith Comes From
1. We see from the scriptures that it is a gift from God.
a. Romans 12:3
b. God has given to every man the measure of faith
We increase our faith when we act, we decrease our faith when we are in unbelief/ doubt
If we just believed it’s over for the dog she ate the poison she is dead. No we acted to remove it.
Ephesians 2:8-9 AMPC
“For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing. It came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;
Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]”
2. Faith is an issue of the heart and not just of the mind. You must be convinced in your heart (spirit) that what God has said is true and you expect what He has said to come to pass.
a. Mark 11:23-24
3. Hebrews 11:3
a. Through Faith we understand what is not evident to the physical senses.
b. It is based not on what we can see but upon what God has said.
c. We look not at what is seen but rather we look at the unseen.
4. Without it we cannot please God. We must believe that He is before we can approach Him with any expectation of receiving what we desire.
Hebrews 11:6 HCSB
Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws
near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.
5. Faith comes by hearing, is seen in Romans 10:17. The word for ‘hear’ has three elements involved with it. If these elements are not met then you have not heard.
a. Repeat what was said
b. Retain what was said
c. Act on what was said
An Example
A typical husband, that has a way of listening to their wife, but not really hearing what she said.
Example - one day she asked me to go to the grocery store. After she told me what she needed she saw the look on my face and said, “You didn’t hear me.”
I told her I did and repeated the list of things she wanted me to get. She said,
“I guess you heard me.” I drove the short distance to the market and got the first item. I then had to get a piece of paper and a pen and call and ask her to repeat what it was she wanted so I could then act on it - get what she wanted.
I had not heard because even though I could initially repeat it, I had not retained it, so I could not act upon it. You can see that to ‘hear’ you not only have to repeat it, but you must retain it so that it becomes a part of you, and be able to act on it. ( Dr. Landsman)
Stanford University conducted a study and found that you had to hear a truth seven times before it became a reality to you. They further found that if you believed something that was untrue, you had to hear the truth eleven times to erase the negative you had believed. Most people do not want to hear something more than once, let alone seven times. If you repeat it they say, “I’ve already heard that.” But you look at their lives and they are not acting on it. You have not heard until you can repeat it; you have retained it; and are able to act on it.
Dr. Michael Landsman states it this way:
“Faith comes by hearing and stays by doing.”
If you hear but do not do them: “Faith cometh by hearing and decrease or does not remain by not doing.”
In the life of many believers, faith is coming and going on a regular basis because they are not doing what they have heard.
Matthew 21:28-31
The Parable of the Two Sons
28 “What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’
29 “‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.
30 “Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go.
31 “Which of the two did what his father wanted?”
“The first,” they answered.
Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. 32 For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.
Faith cannot go beyond your knowledge of the Word of God, as is seen in these scriptures:
1. Hosea 4:6
a. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
b. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you,
c. That you shalt be no priest to me:
d. Seeing you have forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget your children.
2. Isaiah 5:13
a. Therefore my people are gone into captivity
b. Because they have no knowledge
3. Romans 12:2
a. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of
your mind,
b. That you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of
God.
4. Therefore all things are possible to him that believes, because of your trust and confidence in God and His Word, which is true, eternal, unchanging and sure.
a. Mark 9:23
b. Luke 18:27
Faith Is Measurable
The Measure
1. Everyone receives the same measure at salvation according to Romans 12:3. The term ‘measurable’ is a descriptive word. It means a stipulated amount, and as such, it can be added to or increased. Everyone who is born again starts with the same measure of faith, but that measure can be increased as is seen in Romans 10:17 and II Peter 1:5.
Scriptural Examples
1. No faith (Mark 4:40) How is it you have no faith?
2. Little faith (Matthew 14:31) O ye of little faith.
3. Great faith (Matthew 8:10) I have not found so great a faith in all Israel.
4. Full of faith (Acts 6:8) Stephen was a man full of faith.
5. Contrast between weak and strong in faith in the life of Abraham.
a. Romans 4:19-20
6. You faith can grow exceedingly as seen in:
a. II Thessalonians 1:3
What is Faith
January 25,2023
When you pray in Faith, remove IF, there is no if in faith
If it is God's will… The bible says it is God's will
People think they are being humble but it is actually doubt
Matthew 8:17
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
17 And thus He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He Himself took [[a]in order to carry away] our weaknesses and infirmities and bore [b]away our diseases.
PROVING GOD’S WORD BY ACTING ON IT
Faith is proving God’s word by action on it. Faith is giving substance to the things hoped for
As I acted on God’s word, my faith gave substance to that which I hoped for– strength to get my work done. You see, a lot of people just hope, and hope wont bring substance – only faith will. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Hope doesn’t have any substance, but faith gives substance to hope --Kenneth Hagan
John Wesley said that the devil has given the church a substitute for faith that looks and sounds so much like faith, many people can't tell the difference. He called it mental assent
METAL ASSENT VS HEART FAITH
Many people see what God’s word says and agree that it’s true, but they are just agreeing in their minds
Heart faith receives from God, That is why the bible says :
Romans 10:10
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his]
Salvation.
Mark 11:23
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
23 Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.
Notice bible never said about doubting in your head
Mental faith says: well I know what God’s word says but why don’t I have it
Heart faith says: If God’s word says it then it is so, The promise is mine, I have it now , even though I can’t see it.
If you already had it you wouldn’t need to believe God for it and you wouldn’t need faith you already have it.
Many people want to know it first then believe it.
They want it in the natural sense then they will believe it
You have to believe it then you get it.
Mark 11:24
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].
Mark tells us
-
Believe
-
Then you get it
I believe healing ministries can also get caught up in this because they want a feather in their cap when they see the physical healing.
Kenneth Hagen-I feel understood this better than anyone because he didn't’ have an instant healing he actually died 2 times. Then he had to pull himself out of his bed and force himself to move until his healing came.
But while he laid in his sick bed he was sick.
BELIEVE WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS NOT WHAT YOUR SENSES TELL YOU
The trouble is people are doubting like Thomas “ I’ll not believe until I see”
John 20:28-29
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
28 Thomas answered Him, My Lord and my God!
29 Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, do you now believe (trust, have faith)? Blessed and happy and [a]to be envied are those who have never seen Me and yet have believed and adhered to and trusted and relied on Me.
In other words Thomas didn’t believe in Jesus resurrection by faith as you and I do
Thomas believed because he saw
We believe because the word of God says so
This is where many people miss it. They say I believe in divine healing because So and so got healed. But that is not bible faith! I don’t believe in healing because I saw someone get healed. I believe in healing because the word of God says healing belongs to me. (Isa53:4-5, Matt 8:17,1 Peter 2:24)
Romans 4:17-21
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
17 As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed.
18 [For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be.
19 He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah’s [deadened] womb.
20 No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God,
21 Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised. KJV 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Notice the difference between Abraham's faith and Thomas’ faith was just simple a natural human faith:
Thomas said I am not going to believe unless I see
But the Word of God says that Abraham believed God’s word and didn’t consider his own body
-That means he didn’t consider physical sight or physical feelings
If you are not considering your own body then what are you to consider?
Hebrews 3:1
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
3 So then, brethren, consecrated and set apart for God, who share in the heavenly calling, [thoughtfully and attentively] consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest Whom we confessed [as ours when we embraced the Christian faith].
Hebrews 12:2
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2
King James Version
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
So what do you mean what does it look like to put your mind on Jesus
You begin to consider Him and what he did for you:
He took your infirmities
Bore your sickness Matt 8:17
Start to pay attention to that until it drowns out your physical symptoms and natural thoughts until you forget those.
Or in a cast maybe it’s something someone spoke over you. Begin to repeat what the word says until you forget what man has spoken. That is meditation on the word
We are not teaching to deny all symptoms as if they were not even there
We don’t deny symptoms because they are real and the devil is real
But notice what the bible said:
Abraham considered not his own body (Romans 4:19)
Proverbs 4:20-22
New International Version
20 My son, pay attention to what I say;
turn your ear to my words.
21 Do not let them out of your sight,
keep them within your heart;
22 for they are life to those who find them
and health to one’s whole body.
Center your attention and your mind on what Jesus has done for you and what He is doing as your High Priest.
Many people fail because they see themselves fail. They keep the wrong thing before their eyes
Now again notice what the word says: Let them (my words) not depart from before thine eyes “Himself, (Jesus) took our infirmities , and bare our sicknesses (Matt 8:17) then if that word does not depart from before your eyes, you are bound to see yourself without sickness and without disease.
If you do not see yourself well, then that word has departed from before your eyes
God wants to make His word good in your life, He can’t because you are not acting on His word
God is not going to move on your behalf if you don’t cooperate with his word
God can’t move on your behalf if you are not acting on the Word. If He did , He would make Himself out to be a liar, and the bible says God cannot lie.
God gives us direction in Proverbs 4:22
22 for they are life to those who find them
and health ( or medicine) to one’s whole body.
Hebrew word health is also the word for medicine
So take God's word according to His directions. God Words are medicine to all our flesh. Vs 20 and 21 tell us the directions for taking the medicine
20 My son, pay attention to what I say;
turn your ear to my words.
21 Do not let them out of your sight,
keep them within your heart;
Keep looking at what the Word says . You see so many are looking at themselves, at the conditions, at the symptoms, if God's word assures you that He heard and answers your prayer, then if that word doesn’t depart from before your eyes, you're going to see yourself with what you prayed for.
That’s faith in God’s Word. When you see yourself with the answer based on God’s word, that's when you know your faith is solidly based on the word of God. You see failing to take God’s medicine- His Word- according to instructions is what defeats so many in their prayer life.
YOU HAVE GOT TO BELIEVE YOU HAVE YOUR ANSWER BEFORE YOU GET IT
Feelings don’t have any thing in the world to do with faith
Things that defeat us:
-
Thinking wrong
-
Believing wrong
-
Talking wrong
Satan doesn’t defeat you or defeat yourself
God has given us His word to get our thinking straightened out
If our thinking is right, our believing is right, then our talking will be right
So Say:
The Lord is my helper
The Lord is my strength
If God says it's so its so
IF God says by His stripes I was healed then I am healed Isa. 53:4-5 1 Peter 2:24
If God says He shall supply all my needs then he will do it Philp 4:19
If God says he is the strength of my life, then he is Ps 27:1
So simply put real faith simple says about one’s self what the word says
Say this with me
Thank God I have what the word says I have
I am what the word says I am
If God says I am healed, I am healed
If he says he cares for me then He does
So I just simply rest on the word, the word says, For we which have believed do enter into rest. Heb 4:3
Real faith is built on the word of God.
Pressure is off you and on God and his Word!
